Unique breads, pastries and baked goods made with 100% organic, stone milled grains and seasonal ingredients. Locally sourced from the neighboring farmlands of Southern Michigan and the Upper Midwest.

You can find Upstart Bakery items at many specialty stores, independent grocers, farm stops and farmers markets across Southern Michigan. Please contact us at info@upstartbakery.com if you are interested in carrying our products. We are always interested in partnerships that help expand access to healthy food and grow our local small farm economy.

All of our items are vegan. We offer gluten-friendly breads, pastries and desserts at some locations and for special order.

We are a proudly queer owned business committed to increasing opportunities in the workforce.
